In a collaboration between the Mosaic Center and the Psychology Department, we are conducting focus groups to learn more about the experiences of students who identify as LGBTQIAA+ at UMBC. We would like to hear about what UMBC is doing well and what changes or ideas you have about ways to improve the campus climate. If you are willing to participate in a focus group, please email Lakeya McGill (lmcgill1@umbc.edu). The focus group will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 11am-12:30pm for students and Friday, April 22 from 1pm-2:30pm for faculty and staff. Both groups will take place in the Mosaic Center ( Commons 2B23). If you are interested in sharing your experiences and ideas but are not able to attend the focus group, please contact her as well.
