Study Break — LGBQ individuals’ responses to sexual-minority discrimination

See the message below from a researcher at The College of New Jersey:

Coping with Perceived Injustice

Dr. Ashley Borders (at The College of New Jersey) is conducting a research study on how LGBQ individuals respond to sexual-minority discrimination. We are trying to learn more about how discrimination and coping are related in college-aged adults, in order to eventually be able to help people who are struggling to cope with sexual-minority stressors. You must be at least 18 years of age and identify as a sexual minority (e.g., lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, pansexual). If you decide to participate in this online study, you will be asked to complete some questionnaires about your perceptions of discrimination, as well as questionnaires about recent mood, thoughts, and behaviors. This entire survey will take 20-30 minutes to complete. Responses are confidential. After you complete the survey, you can choose to receive a $5 gift card (by email). You can only participate in the study once. Your participation will be greatly appreciated.
